Painting
"Paintings are part narrative, part abstract. Snippets of dreams, feelings and responses to real and imagined places. Oil , canvas, rags and fingers. Any way to reach inside and show something of an inner world, changing landscapes and oracles. Thoughts about the space and How it might be might have been different. Decisions and choices, layers covering and concealing what might have been to be what is now in the moment I discarded the image which is never really finished. Overpainted, discarded, revisited and linking to others like the heart worn and distressed, flying. A heart as metafore for marks made with painted hands and rags.
